Washout Solutions Selected for Inter-County Connector
- Sept 28, 2009Washout Solutions is being used for the Inter-County Connector (ICC) project by MD200 Constructors for "Contract B". MD200 Constructors, has assembled a first-class design-build team to design and construct approximately 6.9 miles of the ICC just east of Georgia Avenue (MD 97) to west of Columbia Pike (US 29), including two interchanges ICC / MD 182 and ICC / MD 650.
A Concrete Solution for Assisting in VSMP Compliance

As the Virginia Stormwater Management Program regulations become more
stringent and are more frequently enforced, it is more important than ever to
insure that efforts are being made to keep construction sites in compliance. One
of the most common problems observed when performing Storm Water Pollution
Prevention Plan (SWPPP) audits and construction site inspections is that concrete
waste material is not properly contained and disposed of. A relatively new Best
Management Practice being offered in Northern Virginia is the portable concrete
washout containment system by Washout Solutions.
